Jack Shabot

Jack Arnold Shabot passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Jack was surrounded by those he loved and those who loved him. He was born on May 18, 1951, to Mona and Sam Shabot in Houston, Texas. Jack was a graduate of St. Edwards University.

Jack fought a valiant fight but kept his sense of humor, passion and love of life throughout his illness.

He cherished working with his father in a family business for over 25 years. The second chapter of his life was spent in real estate working alongside his loving wife and partner of forty-eight years, Jean. Jack was immensely proud to be the parent of two children, Joshua and Valentina.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Mona Shabot, and his brother David Shabot. He is survived by two older brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Among his hobbies were surfing, fishing, golfing and landscaping. He had an uncanny ability to envision and execute the interior and exterior designs of the many homes he remodeled.
