Janice Helene Kline
May 11, 1947 to March 26, 2024

With deepest sadness we announce the passing of our beloved friend and sister,  Janice H. Kline. It was after a brief illness that she went to be with God on March 26, 2024, at the age of 76.

Janice was born to Nathan and Rae Kline in Allentown, PA. on May 11, 1947. She graduated William Allen High School in 1965. She attended Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. majoring in Merchandising and Marketing. After graduating from college in 1968, she accepted a job with International Shoe Company in Cleveland, Ohio in sales and marketing. She later moved back to Allentown in 1973 to work sales in photo and film developing.  When her parents moved to Houston in 1977, she moved also to stay close to them. While here in Houston, she continued to work in sales in several different type of jobs; cabinetry and jewelry to name a few. 

Janice had many friends that she enjoyed spending time with and interests that she enjoyed including working out at the gym and participating in Zumba classes. She was an avid reader and especially enjoyed the E-books that she could order from the Library of Congress. Which was perfect for her because she enjoyed all different genres. She also loved walking with her dogs which she always had with her until her health no longer permitted. I’m not sure which was her favorite; her Scruffy, who was a schnauzer or her Papillons which came later. She was always supportive of rescue organizations when it came to her fur babies.

Janice is survived by her brother Brian Robert Kline, nieces and nephew, Dietra Erika Lucas, Bonnie Rachael Worstell and David Robert Worstell and numerous cousins. Preceded in death were her parents, Nathan and Rae Kline.
